   Proposal Description:
   Gender differences exist in Alzheimer?s disease. However, the systematical investigation of gender differences in socio-demographic and clinical variables in AD or MCI is lacking. The aims of this study are (1) to examine gender differences in socio-demographic and clinical variables in AD, MCI and HC with a cross-sectional design (2) to examine gender differences in the relationship between vascular risk factors and AD pathologies and cerebrovascular pathologies in autopsy-confirmed AD, MCI and HC.
